One of the things I have been doing recently is trying to get back in touch with some old friends from the hometown I grew up in, Harrisville, which is located in upstate New York, up towards the mouth of the St. Lawrence seaway where it meets Lake Ontario. I have been in the past really bad about keeping in touch with classmates and friends from that area.
Recently though I have managed to get in touch with some family (my younger cousins) through Myspace. I have also made contact with some other people I knew from back then including some very good friends that I fondly recall. A few are serious musicians now, with sites up on Myspace with their own music. Jonathan and his family was somebody my brother and I spent alot of time with. I remember them as a very nice family who were always gracious hosts. I was elated when I go responses from both Jonathan and Jessica. Jessica and I have already corresponded a few times via email, it's so very exciting! What's particularly exciting is that she lives about 90ish minutes away from me, so it's realistic for us to visit one another. I am planning on visiting her and her family sometime soon, perhaps as soon as this coming weekend!
So far this year is looking good for me, I feel like I am accomplishing things and getting places. I feel good so far about this year... hopefully things keep moving in that direction for me !
